Definition 5h564p
A cut card is found at the bottom of the deck (in live play) to prevent being able to see this card. Without a cut card, players that happen to see this card would have an unfair advantage.
Example 1w1m2t
This cardroom does not use a cut card; I can use the knowledge of the bottom card to help count my outs.
