Q is another term coined by Dan Harrington in "Harrington on Hold’em vol 1" and vol 2. It is calculated the same way as M (see poker dictionary) except that the stack size used is the average stack in a tournament. Combined with M, this is a very useful way of seeing how active you should be in a tournament.
